The Ahmed brothers brought their 10 years of experience to this place to create some extraordinary dishes enjoyed by locals and visitors to the area. The quality of food and service made Lopen Raj renowned and we quickly became the number one restaurant in South Petherton.

Sunday banquet meal
Been meaning to try this restaurant for a while, and glad we did!! Went for an afternoon banquet menu, which is amazing value for money. Huge amount of choice and all served with excellent presentation. Food was wonderful and very flavourful. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back!

Try the Special Fried Rice.
Honestly, it’s delicious! My partner and I had a meal here one Monday evening, was really quiet and chill–just perfect. Staff is always friendly and the food is always spot-on. Can’t complain about prices as this is one of those special occasion places, after all.

Sunday lunch
An excellent meal in pleasant surroundings with a attentive staff. The food came quickly and the service was very good. Nice touches such as slices of orange, hot cloths and chocolates brought after meal.

Excellent take away!
We use the Lopen Raj fairly regularly and the food and service is always excellent! In our opinion it is easily the best Indian in the area and well worth a visit.

Excellent food
First time for us . The Sunday banquet was available and we had a mixture of Thai and Indian. The service was fast but did not lessen the quality. Will definitely return.
